Who is actually going to do this?
How many people are willing to invest money into this project?

How many people will be able to do work on the project?
_=edit=_

Understand, that many of us will be moving there and living there permanently.
When I get out of school, if we get this done, then I will be moving there to help get everything built and done.
For those of us willing to do like me, then we may end up getting no money to start out with.

We will never stop.

If we can do this, that will be a great success for gaming in general. And, we have the possibility of doing it successfully, and then branching out into other places.

The mind is willing, but the flesh is studenty and British. I'm not sure how much help I can be, except in the thinking of stuff department, for a few years yet.

Hey I'm within 2 hours of the kansas site.

And while I have next to no income, I would happily do any work needed. While I am just a novice carpenter I can work just about any saw, so if I just get told what to do I'll be able to do it no problem.

So if it ends up near enough I will at least put work into it.

I might be able to help, but not at the moment, I might be able to help more later in the game, but school and stuff is a bit deep right now.
I a definite late game, though.

Essentially, I'm behind this project all the way.

I am, however, British and not a particularly handy person. I'm gonna have to do some looking into what the situation is with getting into America. And I'm not giving you money if I can't get involved physically.

I'm in.
Unfortunately, I have just started collage, with no job. But I will soon get one, and then I can start to squirrel away funds. After collage, you will have a bright mind and an eager worker. Until then, I can still offer my brain capacity for this forum

Im currently in my junior year of college with only vague concepts of what to do afterward. I can spare some holidays and the upcoming summer if things should get off the ground by then, and would be more than happy to move there semi-permanently afterwards. Alas, my financial contributions are not going to be particularly staggering.

Also, noticing a pattern with the member base here. Are we all college kids or what?

Don't forget my head!

This will be a wonderful social experiment if all goes according to whatever plan will be made.

I'm in, I have some funding that I am willing to throw in alongside my advanced first aid training, meager agricultural ability, minor accountancy, wood framing, cooking, and a multitude of minor abilities.

Although I live in Canada. Whatever. Close enough right?

With my plans for university, I probably won't be able to join in for at least 9 years or so. I *am* willing to invest money in this, provided it's all set up in a way I can trust my money with.

Broke as hell Culinary student here, but, I've got a little bit of skill in all sorts of places. Trained in Carpentry, design, a little bit of blacksmithing and fabricating, welding, and a lot more. So, I can bring a lot of the little stuff to the table.

The main problem is, people are focusing on "What can I do to make the site better?" when you should be asking, "What can I develop to make the site a reality?" What's your innovative idea, that will change the way the world turns, thinks, breaths, or believes. I think that's what we should be going on.

The business of new ideas is limitless and bountiful, and profitable if marketed to the right people.

Arkansasfag here. Ex-military, currently working in IT. I'm still looking over the information, but if we can organize this into a solid business plan I am willing to throw in my VA loan.

I used to have a lot of disposable income and virtually no responsibilities. Right now I am paying my parents' bills because my father was hurt on the job and was the only wage earner. As soon as that situation works it's self out, I'll be free to do whatever. Moving will not be a problem if this gets serious.

I think that a "community" should be the start of the project before purchasing a silo, for various reasons. One being that you can get a feel for how many serious people you actually have before taking on the ambitious project of renovating a silo. As a matter of fact, the silo is not very important to me, the community is.

I've got a ton of e-books that are DYI on a variety of subjects, including may that would be useful to anyone that would like to help, but doesn't quite know how. If you've got the will, i've got the books.

Also, i have a bit of cooking skill, but i'll also bring along a catalog of recipes already converted so that when you make the dish in question, it'll have 100 servings. everything from beef stew to brownies. Bear in mind, i've got a little over one hundred of such things. lol

One last thing, would someone be so kind as to make a thread for cooking recipes? I've got a couple i'd like to post to get some feed back from the community.

Well, I don't have much money to add, but I've got construction experience. About 5 years ago I built my father's beach front retirement home. All the labor was done by me, my father, and my father's best friend/neighbor.

I've spent some time 'off the grid', don't know how much it will help. I spent about 3 years among an urban hippie commune that was squatting in an empty office building. I picked up some money making, and food procuring tricks there.

I'm willing to relocate as soon as now, and my current source of income isn't tied to a location.

In undergrad, but not that tied to it and have no loans to pay off, regardless.

I can contribute both financially and labor and can help some on the legalities of such a venture.
