Getting the Message Out

How do we plan to do this? Whether it is simple advertising or recruiting entire forums through the power of adminship, what can we do?

List connections you can abuse here.

First off, I think we need to alert a few other sections of 4chan to get their input. /g/ and /sci/ may be interested in such a project off the top of my head.

/tg/ Make threads at least once every two days, give status updates etc.

Mention it on other forums don't don't mention it's a 4chan plan, all interest will be lost.

Ie: "Want to live in an experimental community for less than the cost of an apartment?"

Not "Want to live in the 4chan /tg/ fortress?"

Now we just need a volunteer to make it sound as sane and reasonable as possible.

Any takers?

We need banners to put on all forum sigs.

Once we get the site purchased, we should offer internships to Science/engnieering students to help us out and pimp out their resumes. Civil and environmental should be our primary focus in the begining, with some mechanical and electrical/computer thrown in too, to get the power and computer up.

And once they get involved, they petty squabbles over who owns/controls what begins. For all your cynicism, i've yet to see YOU come up with some reasonable ideas. It's one thing to criticize & contribute, but it's something completely different if all you're going to do is whine like a little 8 yr old girl.
